RAVEL: one thread through the whole page.
RAVEL is an invented app for tasks, notes and plans. DTB WEB designed and built the website as a concept. One thread runs through the whole page: loose thoughts arrive tangled in it and leave as a straight violet ribbon of tasks.

The question
How do you show what a to-do app does without screenshots side by side? Every task app promises a calm mind. We wanted you to watch that calm appear as you scroll.
The idea
The concept is untangling. In the opening a thread of loose thoughts weaves through the headline. Scroll on and you pull the thread taut while the tasks land on today’s board. Later the thread becomes the waveform of a meeting, a bracelet with eight charms and a string of reviews. You can also type a real thought and check tasks off.
The technique
The thread is a rope with physics: text rides along the rope and everything runs on one clock with GSAP and Lenis. The charms were made in Blender and swing like pendulums. Sound is synthesised in the browser, stays silent until your first click and has a mute button. On a phone the page simply flows from top to bottom; tablets get a layout of their own.
A concept, not a client
RAVEL does not exist. The users, the reviews, the figures and the counter of tasks checked off are part of the concept. The site itself does work: you can type a thought, check tasks off and watch the thread tidy everything up.
